When ordering
a windshield, use this table as a guideline:

Please
keep in mind a couple of key points about choosing a windshield
height:
- The
shield should be high enough to direct most of the wind
and water over and around you, yet low enough so you should
be able to look over the windshield when you
need to. This is, however, mostly a personal preference
item. Some folks like a shield that is tall enough that
they get virtually no wind at all and they don’t mind looking
through the shield all the time. Other people like a shield
that is lower and less obtrusive. It’s just there to keep
the wind off their chest and they can tuck down behind it
when they need protection from rain, cold wind, spray, etc.
- Some
people differ a bit in the way their height is proportioned.
For example, one 6-foot person may have a 2-inch taller
torso and shorter legs than the 6-footer standing beside
them.
What if
you:
-Are right
on the border of two heights, or
-Feel
you need maximum protection? (and don’t mind looking through
the windshield)
When
in doubt, order the taller windshield: We can always cut it
lower for you later if it’s too tall.
